at home in carlsbad
I have a confession to make. I am biased when clients ask for location advice. Because I really want every family at least once do a session at their home. While I think at home sessions can be done anytime, there are a few seasons of life that they work best for. So here is my own personal short list for when an in-home session just makes sense:
1) You are moving to a new home and want to remember your life in your old home.
2) You just moved into a new home and want to capture all the excitement surrounding that experience.
3) You just welcomed a new tiny human into your lives and need the comfort and ease of home.
4) You’ve never done an in-home session before and I’ve convinced you it’s a must!
5) Anytime, really, anytime is a good time to do an in-home session. Because it’s not actually about the home. It’s about how your family interacts in a space that is special and comfortable to them.
Here’s a few images from a recent session I did for the loveliest family in Carlsbad. They had just renovated their new home so were excited about having some memories of their family in their new space! A perfect time to do an in-home session.
