“what a blast our family session was”
Oh, my goodness. What a blast our family session with Morgan was! Our family is NOT the family portrait kind of family. First, we’re just way too wild and free, so good luck getting us to both schedule AND remember to meet all at the same place and at the same time, wearing coordinating outfits no less!
Second, while I can’t speak for my partner or any of our kids, but I just tend to dork out in front of a camera. So what usually happens in group shots is I don’t have enough time to relax, I’m looking stiff and like I’m forcing a smile (although everyone else tends to look great, so the photo gets shared all over in spite of being a dissapointment to me!). Well, these fears could not have been further from reality in this case. Morgan came to us on our turf, so there was that built-in authentic relaxation… I mean, was that always there, or did she bring it with her?! And her natural way with the kids had them in their element of showing her ALL their things and brought out all their natural energy, which in turn lead to some just amazing shots. Her prompts for us grown-up kids, too, were easy and fun to follow.
I expected to love the photos of the kids, but am so beautifully surprised that I love the family shots and the photos of me, too. As a creative person, I also loved dreaming up the photo settings with Morgan beforehand, and I had so much excitement to achieve all of our ideas (okay, MOSTLY Morgan’s amazing ideas!), darn it, I just didn’t want our session to end! I just loved the experience and the outcome both, I couldn’t be happier. And the grandparents will be thrilled to finally receive one of those Holiday cards with a picture of everyone on it.

“makes even the most camera shy person feel comfortable”
We hadn’t hired a professional photographer since our wedding (15 years) because I was worried that I wouldn’t be happy with the results for the cost (as an amateur photographer myself who has very specific tastes). Morgan’s images blew me away and we’ve since done two more shoots with her with another scheduled next spring.
I love the experience with her - she is great with kids, keeps it fun and light, and makes even the most camera shy person feel comfortable. We love how she gives ideas for body position and gentle instruction without making us feel awkward or silly in front of the camera. She has a wonderful eye for outfits and so I always consult with her before a shoot to make sure our “look” is the best it can be.
Basically I can’t say enough good things. We love her so much and feel like we’ve found our family photographer for as long as she’ll keep taking our pictures! Highly recommend.

Morgan is truly incredible. Anyone with young kids knows that family photo sessions can feel a little chaotic, and with our three young children who don’t know how to listen, I honestly wasn’t sure how it would all go. Somehow, Morgan made the entire experience feel easy and enjoyable.
She was so patient, calm, and wonderful with the kids, never making us feel rushed or stressed. Even in the middle of what felt like complete chaos to me, she was capturing beautiful moments. When we received our gallery, I couldn’t believe she had managed to turn all of those little moments into such stunning photos.
She captured our family exactly as we are—full of personality, love, and joy. The photos are genuine, not overly posed, and they are images we’ll treasure forever. Morgan is incredibly talented and professional. I recommend her wholeheartedly and wouldn’t trust anyone else to capture our family.
I’m already looking forward to our session once the newest member of our family arrives in a few weeks!

“She felt like a friend”
This was our first time getting family photographs with a professional photographer and it was better than I could have ever imagined. I was always hesitant to get photos taken because of all the logistics, from outfits to location, to every other little detail that I didn’t even know. Morgan took all the guesswork out of this process. She held my hand from start to finish to give me the most perfect experience.
While Morgan was in our home she felt like a friend who was there, completely judgement free, to help us have a fun hour together as a family. There was absolutely no pressure to be “on” or pose or behave a certain way to make the photos turn out perfectly. Instead we could just be ourselves, enjoy each other, and she captured all the love and fun we have as a family. We will treasure these photos as a snapshot of such a special time in the life of our family. The photos themselves are absolutely beautiful. It’s hard to describe but luckily her work speaks for itself.
Overall the experience was organic, authentic, and completely joyful. I would recommend Morgan to anyone who wants beautiful, high quality photos, with an experience like no other.
